24 December 2006 (Jewswire.com) - In October 2007, IDC Herzliya will open its doors to a pair of MBA programs designed for today's young professionals. Candidates can specialize from two tracks: International Management and Entrepreneurship. The programs are fully accredited by the Israeli Council for Higher Education. Top academics from the Arison School of Business, many of whom hail from the best schools in the U.S., Europe and Israel will be teaching the program. IDC Herzliya's Raphael Recanati International School (RRIS), the only school in Israel which teaches complete B.A. programs in English, also plays a crucial role by providing social and logistical support. The RRIS is currently the academic home for over 600 students from 48 different countries.
Students will also be allowed to customize their degree with a specialization of their choice to be truly experts in their field of interest. They'll be able to incorporate electives from the array of schools at IDC Herzliya including Computer Science, Government Diplomacy and Strategy as well as Communications. They'll also have access to IDC Herzliya's internationally recognized research institutes including the Institutes for Counter-Terrorism (ICT) and Policy & Strategy (IPS).
Israel, which serves as a nexus for renowned business innovation, is the perfect training ground for any student looking to gain an edge in the international marketplace and that's where IDC Herzliya comes in. Special sessions have also been arranged to stimulate networking with the dynamic global and Israeli business environments.
In the coming weeks, members of the RRIS staff will be touring U.S. and Turkey as part of a global recruitment drive for the new programs.
