1 February 2007 (Jewtastic.com) — Manischewitz, today announced the name of the grand prize winner in the first ever Simply Manischewitz Cook-Off final competition that took place at The New York Marriott Marquis Hotel this afternoon. Candace McMenamin from Lexington, SC wins the ultimate $20,000 grand prize package that includes a GE Profile kitchen, cash and the title of “National Simply Manischewitz Champion”.
Candace McMenamin from Lexington, SC won for her “Sweet Potato Encrusted Chicken”. She competed against five other finalists who included:
