30 October 2006 ( - Paul Roitman Bardack, CEO of (MJL), the award-winning Jewish educational website, today announced the launch of the website's new blog, Mixed Multitudes.

Leveraging the Internet's capacity for immediacy and communication, the new blog will focus on developments in Jewish learning, education, and cultural and intellectual life. The blog will be updated twice a day, five days a week by MJL's Editor-in-Chief, Daniel Septimus. MJL's CEO, COO, and Managing Editor will also contribute posts. In addition, MJL will host guest bloggers -- leading educators, thinkers, and writers who will debate and discuss issues in Jewish life.

"The blog will serve as a place to address immediate issues and news, enlivening in a totally new way," Bardack said. "We look at Mixed Multitudes as the latest of several forthcoming daily features that will make even more dynamic and compelling."

Blog entries will complement the site's current content to make MJL more interactive. Posts will include links to relevant articles on MJL and to other websites and blogs, so that readers can expand their knowledge and experience of Judaism.
