May 9 2007 (Jewswire.com) - The Association of Jewish Libraries has launched a Convention Blog in association with the 42nd annual convention to be held in Scottsdale, Arizona June 17-20, 2007. The blog is hosted by Sheryl Stahl, librarian at the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in Los Angeles, with contributions from other AJL members, and may be viewed at www.ajl2007.blogspot.com.
AJL's Convention Blog provides a forum for announcements and information-sharing in the months leading up to the event. Once the convention begins on June 17, the blog will create a virtual attendance experience for those unable to be in Scottsdale. The 2006 AJL Convention Blog recorded impressions from workshops, author visits, and meals, and displayed plenty of photos. The 2007 AJL Convention Blog will include these features and more.
Readers can access the blog directly at www.ajl2007.blogspot.com or can sign up to receive posts via email using Feedblitz.
